It seems to be ladies night with two films and a web series all written, directed and starring women, including Hot Mess, Booksmart and Single Ladies, respectively. Olivia Wilde’s directorial debut Booksmart, a coming of age comedy starring Kaitlyn Dever and Beanie Feldstein, gets the tick approval from the team. They also review Stuber; a film about a man named Stu who drives an Uber, starring Kumail Nanjiani and Dave Bautista, and a film called the Great Buster about one of the greatest screen comedians of all time, Buster Keaton.
