Lewis and Rachele talk about the weeks movie news and their old mate Alex's amazing short film Evie. They gush about the new Disney/Marvel TV show WandaVision. Rachele also reviews the Australian small town mystery /thriller The Dry, starring Eric Bana. The team also talk a little about the Perth Fringe Festival!

It is a killer start to this week’s show with a review for A Promising Young Woman, starring the fabulous Carey Mulligan. The team also review Ammonite starring Kate Winslet and Saoirse Ronan and Only the Animals, a French flick.

It’s the first show for 2021! The team say goodbye to 2020 with reviews for comedy specials Death to 2020 and Yearly Departed.

It’s the last show for 2020! And flying into cinemas is Wonder Woman 1984 which Lewis and Cecilia review. Also on this weeks show is reviews for the new Francis McDormand film Nomadland, the new Pixar film Soul, Castle Rock , Dreambuilders and Jingle Jangle.

As the year draws to an end, the team reflect on 2020 and discuss their favorite tv shows and films of the year.

This week, it is all about the mind with reviews for Words on Bathroom Walls which tells the story of a teenage boy diagnosed with Schizophrenia. The team also look at the doco Oliver Sacks: In his Own Life which profiles the acclaimed neurologist.

It’s starting to feel a lot like Christmas with the release of Happiest Season, a Christmas flick starring Kristen Stewart. The team also review the sci-fi/horror Possessor, Monsoon, The Crown and Raphael Revealed.

Film reviews are plenty this week. First is Brazen Hussies, a feature documentary celebrating the bold women of the Women's Liberation Movement Who re-ignited the feminist revolution in Australia. Lewis reviews Never Rarely Sometimes Always, a film that shines a light on prochoice, while Cecilia reviews Ben Wheatley’s adaptation of the famous Daphne De Maurier novel Rebecca.

Rachele and Lewis have a packed show. We have reviews for streaming films Bad Education, The Invisible Man and The Devil all the time. There are also new movies at the cinemas with NZ Comedy Baby Done, The Climb and Liam Neeson action thriller Honest Thief. Lewis also talks about David Tennant and Michael Sheens Quarantine TV Show Staged

It is sad news this week, with the passing of one of cinemas greats Sean Connery. Lewis and Cecilia reflect on his work. They also discuss the British Film Festival including the film Summerland starring Gemma Arterton before diving into a list of Christmas films that are due to release. They finish the show with a discussion on the new Netflix miniseries The Queens Gambit.

Cecilia and Rachele immerse themselves in some culture this week, first stopping of at the Opera to review The Three Tenors. Next it’s a trip to Paris to discuss A Night at the Louvre: Leonardo da Vinci and lastly, they discuss Hope Gap, starring Bill Nighy and Annette Bening and adapted from the play The Retreat from Moscow.

The team spring into reviews, starting with a horror film called Spree. They also review the new Tim Winton adaptation Dirt Music, and Netflix series Warrior Nun.

Lewis and Rachele cover what they've been steaming. We hear Cecilia and Rachele's views on the new Sofia Coppola film On the Rocks. There's a tangent about the the Trump/Biden debate before stopping off at the Italian Film Festival and reviewing Lucky Grandma.

There is plenty to keep the team on their toes this week. First up, Lewis reviews the live action version of Mulan while Rachele reviews The Secrets we Keep, a thriller starring Noomi Rapace, and children’s film Four Kids and It.

Rachele and Cecilia discuss the new Oscars criteria which focuses on inclusivity of underrepresented groups in the film industry. Also, on the agenda is the revenge film Becky, starring Kevin James in a more serious role, Paw Patrol, and Lovecraft Country.

The dream team our back this week to discuss Tenet, the new Christopher Nolan film. It has also been 10 years since the release of inception (hence the reference to dream). They also review The Secret: Dare to Dream and The Old Guard!

Welcome to New York! The team start the show with a discussion about the Big Apple before chatting about long running tv series and the new Kumail Nanjiani film, The Lovebirds. Lewis and Rachele also battle out their Star Wars knowledge and Rachele shares a review she wrote for Aussie film Jindabyne back in 2006!

The much anticipated live-action version of Mulan is set to be released on Disney Plus, so the team discuss their thoughts on VOD. Lewis and Rachele chat about what they’ve been watching on steaming including Unsolved Mysteries, Women Who Kill, Umbrella Academy and a Harley Quinn animation. Cecilia also reviews Deerskin, a black comedy starring Jean Dujardin, an unhinged divorcee with “killer style”.
