It is all laughs this week as the team are unsurprisingly full of jokes and puns. They first look at the new film 23 Walks, about two people who form a burgeoning romance while walking their dogs. They also discuss Fleabag and Eurovision: The Story of Fire Saga. It is all downhill from here though as the team descent into fits of laughter, including a discussion on Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The much anticipated live-action version of Mulan is set to be released on Disney Plus, so the team discuss their thoughts on VOD. Lewis and Rachele chat about what they’ve been watching on steaming including Unsolved Mysteries, Women Who Kill, Umbrella Academy and a Harley Quinn animation. Cecilia also reviews Deerskin, a black comedy starring Jean Dujardin, an unhinged divorcee with “killer style”.
This week on Unscripted, Lewis and Cecilia discuss The Wretched, a new horror film starring an evil witch, The Burnt Orange Heresy, a drama/thriller with an important message about art, and House of Cardin, a detailed documentary looking at the life of forward-thinking fashion designer Pierre Cardin.
The house lights are brimming tonight, as Lewis and Rachele discuss, with much excitement, Hamilton, the hit Broadway production about America founding Father Alexander Hamilton. Lewis also reviews Waves which centres on an African American family in a affluent suburb in Florida and Rachele reviews Shirley, a fictional story utilising non-fictional writer Shirley Jackson.
This week, the team share their excitement with the official opening of cinemas in Western Australia! They discuss some of the films available to see at the movies and films they would love to see on the big screen. Cecilia also reviews Icelandic film, A White, White Day. Books, books, books! Like films, the team discuss their love for books, inspired by the new documentary, the Booksellers. Lewis makes Rachele laugh until she snorts while discussing the anatomically incorrect dinosaurs in Jurassic Park and Lewis and Cecilia review It Must Be Heaven, an absurd but enlightening film. And that’s a wrap!
Rachele and Lewis wax rhapsodic about cinema as their excitement builds for their reopening. They talk about the upcoming online Couched film festival from the revelation film fest crew, review Love Sarah and chat about some upcoming films. They also farewell Cinema Paradiso, the home of so many previews.
From cinema food to the future of cinema, the team discuss all this and more in the latest episode of Unscripted. Rachele, Lewis and Cecilia chat about the appeal of cinema and how watching something at home is just not quite the same. Lewis reviews Hollywood which follows a group of aspiring actors and filmmakers in post- World War II in Hollywood as they try to make it in the movie business and Rachele reads us a film review she wrote back in the day.
The team are back to the remote recording this week with some You Tube theatre thanks to The Show Must Go On’s release of Cats. Rachele tells us about The Assistant and Lewis gives us the run down on Uploaded and some other streaming with a Back to the Future treat from Reunited Apart. We’ll be reunited again next week.

The team also chat about national theatre and improv. They round off the show with a game of What’s in the Box, delving deep into the film collections of the show's members. Can you guess who had which film? Men In Black 2, The Avengers, and The Frozen Ground.
Another week of ISO and we are finding some intriguing things to watch. Rachele reviews Video on demand Sci-fi, thriller Film Vivarium which has a very Twilight zone feel. Cecilia lightens the mood with some Stand up specials featuring on Netflix and Lewis talks Man in the high castle, a Amazon prime series set in an alternative world where the nazis and Japanese won ww2. The crew are back together! Cecilia, Rachele and Lewis take advantage of some technology to discuss hitting 100 episodes of the podcast and work out that there have been some 1000 shows of the show that have hit the airwaves in Perth. There's plenty of streaming happening this week as well as updated schedules for Disney and Marvel.
