From cinema food to the future of cinema, the team discuss all this and more in the latest episode of Unscripted. Rachele, Lewis and Cecilia chat about the appeal of cinema and how watching something at home is just not quite the same. Lewis reviews Hollywood which follows a group of aspiring actors and filmmakers in post- World War II in Hollywood as they try to make it in the movie business and Rachele reads us a film review she wrote back in the day.
The team are back to the remote recording this week with some You Tube theatre thanks to The Show Must Go On’s release of Cats. Rachele tells us about The Assistant and Lewis gives us the run down on Uploaded and some other streaming with a Back to the Future treat from Reunited Apart. We’ll be reunited again next week.

The team also chat about national theatre and improv. They round off the show with a game of What’s in the Box, delving deep into the film collections of the show's members. Can you guess who had which film? Men In Black 2, The Avengers, and The Frozen Ground.
Another week of ISO and we are finding some intriguing things to watch. Rachele reviews Video on demand Sci-fi, thriller Film Vivarium which has a very Twilight zone feel. Cecilia lightens the mood with some Stand up specials featuring on Netflix and Lewis talks Man in the high castle, a Amazon prime series set in an alternative world where the nazis and Japanese won ww2. The crew are back together! Cecilia, Rachele and Lewis take advantage of some technology to discuss hitting 100 episodes of the podcast and work out that there have been some 1000 shows of the show that have hit the airwaves in Perth. There's plenty of streaming happening this week as well as updated schedules for Disney and Marvel.
Lewis and Rachele rope Kat in to fill in for Cecilia while they embark on the first social isolating-friendly recording, live from The Gentlemen of Pop Culture Studio and Rachele’s closet.

They also review the new Will Ferrell and Julia Louise-Dreyfus film Downhill and discuss Dark Waters, the new Mark Ruffalo film which tells the true story of a lawyer who uncovers some rather sinister information about large conglomerate DuPont.
Bird of Prey (and the Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) flew into cinemas this week, and with resident comic book expert Lewis away, Ada gives us her review. For a completely different tone, Cecilia reviews The Lighthouse, a film by Robert Eggers, the acclaimed director of The Witch.
For the second week in a row, the team discuss Kristen Stewart’s acting chops. Last week it was her performance in Underwater, and this week it's her portrayal of actress Jean Seberg in the new film Seberg. Rachele, Lewis and Cecilia also discuss Shia LaBeouf's latest venture in The Peanut Butter Falcon. They also review Terrence Malick's latest creation A Hidden Life, which tells the true story of an Austrian farmer who refused to swear allegiance to Hilter during World War II.
Rachele and Lewis discuss all the latest in the world of film including Robert Downey Jnr’s role as a vet who can talk to animals in Doolittle, Tom Hanks role as the iconic Mr Rogers in A Beautiful Day in the Neighbourhood and Kristen Stewart’s performance as a mechanical engineer aboard a drilling rig set at the bottom of the ocean in Underwater. Rachele also makes an interesting discovery about the Oscars in which real-life couple Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach both have films in the best picture category for the Oscars.
It’s been 25 years since Bad Boys arrived! Ada gives her review and the verdict is that not much has changed, the film title Bad boys for Life is just as action packed as its predecessors. The team also review Bombshell which sparks a conversation regarding sexual harassment, Sam Mendes' acclaimed war film 1917, and the 2020 Oscar nominations.
